Messages to parents: WhatsApp and SMS
Writing to each parent takes time. Masomo writes one message per parent, from templates, in the language chosen for them, and sends it automatically by WhatsApp or by SMS, according to the parent's channel. Message credits are included in the school's package. Free WhatsApp links remain available at all times.

What the module does
- Automatic messages chosen by the school: payment receipt with the amount in words, today's absence and lateness, unpaid-fee reminders on a schedule, results and report card.
- One channel per parent, WhatsApp or SMS: never a duplicate message, and a fallback WhatsApp link if sending fails.
- Message credits included in the package: a quota per school and per school year, then top-ups that never expire.
- Tracking of each message: sent, delivered, read or failed, and an alert before credits run out.
- Five languages for parents: French, Swahili, Lingala, Kikongo, Tshiluba.
- Group sending: today's absentees, a class, parents behind on payments…, automatically or through free WhatsApp links.
